Original Italian WW2 M-33 ( model 1933 ) Regio Esercito helmet with the insignia of the 3rd engineers regiment. Helmet size 57 complete with the original liner and chinstrap. The liner band has the stamp AT ( arsenale Torino ) and the royal Savoia family crown. names are written on the liner leather not sure if this are for the US GI that brought this back. The 3rd Engineer Regiment was formed in 1926. During the Second Italo-Ethiopian War the regiment formed companies and platoons for units deployed to Ethiopia. During World War II the regiment formed engineer battalions and smaller units for deploying divisions. The regiment was disbanded by invading German forces after the announcement of the Armistice of Cassibile on 8 September 1943.

Italian WW2 M-33 Cavalry helmet, Regio Esercito Italiano Reggimento Savoia Cavalleria. Liner size 58 with liner band dated 1939 with Royal Savoia family crown. The royal Savoia family insignia Crown & shield is also present on the tip of the ” Grigio-Verde ” leather chinstrap. the helmet shows two layers of paint, the early issued light color Grigio-Verde and the WW2 later applied darker Grigio-Verde. A 100% original Italy WWII Royal army helmet, hard to find in WW2 vintage conditions untouched.

Originally painted grigio-verde green with M.V.S.N. insignia and later painted black with a new insignia ( you can still see the first insignia under the black paint) All original liner and chinstrap with a stamp ” Torino ” under the leather liner. Leather and liner band stamped size 55. A rare helmet in untouched conditions.

Italian rare original model 1933 M33 steel elite Bersaglieri unit combat helmet 5th Regiment insignia. Nice large size 58 complete with Grigio-Verde leather chinstrap and leather liner.
The 5th regiment On 7 April 1939 the XIV Battalion landed in Durrës in Albania as part of the Italian invasion of Albania. Meanwhile on 20 April 1939 the regiment joined the newly raised 131st Armored Division “Centauro”. On 28 October of the same year the division was transferred to Albania for the Greco-Italian War. In December 1942 the 5th Bersaglieri Regiment was transferred to Tunisia for the Tunisian campaign. Regiment and battalion fought at the battles of Kasserine Pass, Mareth Line, and El Guettar. The remnants of regiment and battalion surrendered with the rest of Army Group Africa on 13 May 1943.

Rare 1941 Italy Fascist enlisted soldier uniform matching set jacket and pants for M.V.S.N. Italian Black Shirts ” Camice Nere ” Benito Mussolini ” il DUCE ” elite combat units. Both tunic and trousers have the Milizia ( Milizia Volontaria Sicurezza Nazionale ) acceptance stamp dated 1941 and are in original perfect like new conditions. This would be a set very hard to find and much harder to upgrade.

Italian rare buckle for the ” Battaglioni Antiparacadutisti ” ( anti paratroopers units ) of the R.S.I. National Republican air force A.N.R.
The buckle is almost identical to the buckle used by the German armies and is made of an alloy based on iron and printed in a single piece unpainted. this is an official bucle produced in very few numbers by the company Stefano Johnson in Milan.

Italian RARE Console Generale MVSN visor cap hat made by Unione Militare Roma. This is a real one with the Fascist gold wire bullion ” GRECA ” embroidered directly on the hat and not added later over a regular Regio Esercito visor. Beautiful Fascist genera eagle. Italian model 1933 helmet black paint with yellow Fascio painted insignia, this is the second I find like this in many years and I thought was a variation of the MVSN Mussolini Black Shirts Militia helmet until I found this pictures showing an Italian young volunteer training for the RSI army in 1944 with the same exact helmet.
Helmet size 57 with early = = stitching leather liner, AT ( Torino arsenal ) stamp on the band and Royal Savoia Shield stamp on the tip of the ” Grigio Verde ” leather chinstrap. SOLD

Italian RARE Regio Esercito experimental camouflage M33 helmet ” SPERIMENTALE BALMA “. This is the best example I ever had complete with original liner and chinstrap. Liner band dated 1939 and stamp on leather 1943. This is the only factory camo Italian helmet ever made and saw only brief use at the end of the war especially during the RSI period. You can see one other example ( shell only ) on the Paolo Marzetti book ” helmets of the world ” page 162.
